Trip Introduction

The Chulu-East (5416m.) is a part of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Chulu-East is situated above the Manang Valley. Chulu East Peak Climbing serves trekkers with the astonishing views of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Manasalu, Tilicho and Gangapurna.

In addition to Chulu-East, Thorang-La Pass, Muktinath and Tatopani are also the attractions of this trek.

Passing through the Thorang-La Pass, that lies in the Annapurna trekking region is a strenuous job. The trail is quite easy when the weather conditions are good. However, the major challenge in this trek is altitude sickness.

The Muktinath Temple lies at the base of Thorang-La Pass. The temple is widely known as the place of liberation. Muktinath is a sacred place for both Hindus as well as for the Tibetan Buddhists.

Next in route is Tatopani where the hot water flows from the spring. Huge numbers of people stop here to take bath in the spring.
