Trip Introduction

Mera Peak is located in the Khumbu region. Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in the Sagarmatha Zone. Mera Peak is situated in the south of Mt. Everest. The first ascent to Mera Peak was made by J.O.M. Roberts and Sen Tenzing in May 20, 1953. Mera Peak climbing is technically a straightforward ascent. A good panorama of Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Cho Oyu and Everest can be seen from Mera Peak.
