Day 1 Arrival in Paro and drive to Thimphu; 1 hr.
You will land at Paro International Airport where one of our representatives from Bhutan will welcome you. You will then take an hour-long scenic drive to Thimphu. Upon reaching Thimphu, you will check-in the hotel and get ready to explore around. Later, you will visit the fortress of the Glorious Religion, which was built in 1641 AD. However, it gets renovated in 1965 by King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. Now, this dzong is home to the main secretariat of the Government. On the other side of the river, you will see the National Assembly Hall.
Day 2 Thimphu Sightseeing.
You will wake up early and have a delicious breakfast. You will then visit the colorful weekend market that occurs from Thursday to Sunday. From here, you will visit Handmade Paper Mill and School of Arts & Crafts, where 13 different arts used predominantly in Bhutan are taught. You will then have lunch, and later, drive to Buddha Point. On the way, you will pass by memorial chorten built in the memory of the 3rd king. The tour will also take you to Enclosure where you will see Takin, the national animal of Bhutan. You will end your day with a visit to Zilukha Nunnery.
Day 3 Thimphu to Paro; 1 hr.
Today, you will wake up early in the morning and hike to Tiger's Nest, the country's most revered temple hangs off a granite cliff. It is one of the most significant temples of the nation. Later, you will visit the National Museum, where you will see ancient sculptures, manuscripts, etc. Further, walking through an old wooden bridge, you will reach Kich temple and explore the historic ruins of the Drukgyel Dzong.
Later, you will drive to Paro following the same route. Upon reaching Paro, you will move to the hotel. You can visit the nearby market on your own as the evening is free for you.
Day 4 Departure.
Today, you will fly back to Kathmandu or your home. You will be transferred to Paro International Airport our tour guide. He will bid you our last goodbye to you and good wishes to you.
