Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350 m) & transfer to the hotel.
Upon your arrival at the Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our team representatives. He will take you to the hotel. You can rest for the day. In the evening, you will stroll on the vibrant streets of Thamel, and end your day with welcome dinner.
Drive to Pokhara (850 m); 7 hrs.
After having breakfast, you will drive to one of the biggest cities in Nepal, Pokhara. The drive will be long and scenic. Lush green hills, rivers, waterfalls, dense forests, and small settlements area will keep you accompany during the drive. Upon reaching Pokhara, you will move to the hotel.
Drive from Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1,488 m); 2 hrs.
Today, you will take a short drive to Tikhedhunga. The drive will be scenic and present to you the countryside views. You will have enough time to explore the village and relax.
Trek to Ghorepani (2,875 m); 4-5 hrs.
Trekking through small villages and lush forests, you will ascend towards beautiful Ghorepani village. Surrounded by lush forests and mountains, you will get to see wonderful views from Ghorepani.
Trek to Swanta/Upper Chistibung, early morning hike to Poonhill (3,000 m); 5-6 hrs.
Wake up early in the morning and hike up to Poon Hill from where you will get to see gorgeous sunrise along with the western Himalayas. After that, you will descend to Ghorepani for breakfast, and continue trekking towards Swanta.
Trek to Khopra Danda (3,640 m); 3 hrs.
The trail ascends towards Khopra Danda. On the way, you might get to see an animal like Himalayan Thar and Himalayan Monal. Upon reaching Khopra Dada, you will get to see superb views of Mt. Fishtail, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Nilgiri, and several other mountains.
Trek to Khopra Danda, day-trip to Khayer Lake (4,660 m); 7-8 hrs.
The trail move towards Khayar Lake, which is also a pilgrimage site for Hindus. The trail mostly ascends and becomes steeper at the end. After spending some time at the lake, you will return to Khopra Danda for a night stay.
Trek to Tatopani (1,250 m); 4-5 hrs.
After having breakfast, you will descend to Tatopani. Trekking through small villages and terraced fields, you will reach Tatopani, where you will find natural hot spring. You can take a hot bath in the hot spring by paying a few bucks.
Drive to Pokhara (815 m); 4 hrs.
Today, you will drive back to Pokhara. You will have the rest of the day free to explore. You can do boating on the tranquil Fewa Lake, and explore the lively Lakeside market.
Drive back to Kathmandu (1,300 m); 7 hrs.
Another long and scenic drive will take you back to Kathmandu. You will move to the hotel and rest. You can do whatever you want as the day is leisure for you.
Rest Day in Kathmandu (optional sightseeing in Kathmandu).
It is an extra day in Kathmandu. you can rest or explore the nearby monuments. If you want, we can also arrange a guided sightseeing tour for you. In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner.
As per your flight departure time, one of our team members will drop you at the Airport.

Khopra Danda Trek is a short and adventurous journey to one of the less-traveled trails of the Annapurna region. The trail is less crowded and beautifully packed with nature's beauty. Poon Hill Viewpoint
Poonhill is also one of the main highlights of this trek. It is a very famous vantage point of the Annapurna region from where you will get to see one of the most captivating sunrises of your life along with views of western Himalayas. From Ghorepani village, it will take around one and a half hours to reach Poonhill.

After your successful trek to Khopra Danda Trek, you will descend to Tatopani, you will find natural hot spring. You can take a long relaxing bath in the hot spring by paying a few extra bucks. This will help you relax your muscles.
Culture & Ethnic Diversity
Khopra Danda Trek will present to you the rich culture and lifestyle of the Chhetri and Gurung people. Your night stay in different villages will present you with a closer perspective of their daily lifestyle and practices. They have a completely different set of cultures, traditions, festivals, and languages from one another.
The trail includes many dense forests of rhododendrons and other vegetation. The entire region is abundant in flora and fauna. During the trek, you can see several unique species of plants & herbs. There is also a chance that you can come across wildlife during your walk-in forests.

Khopra Danda Trek is an easy to moderate trek. The trek includes a perfect balance of adventure and easy trail. With normal health and stamina, you can go on Khopra Danda Trek 12 Days without any problem. The trail comprises of numerous steep ascends and descends through forests, steep & rugged path. You need to walk for at least 5 to 6 hours a day.
Altitude Sickness and Prevention
Khopra Danda Trek does involve chances of altitude sickness because of the high altitude. You will traverse above 4,000 meters, which is a very high altitude. However, you will be gradually gaining elevation that lowers the risks of suffering from AMS. The best thing you can do to avoid AMS is by keeping yourself hydrated during the trek.

Food and Accommodation during Khopra Danda Trek
You will be staying in the guesthouse during Khopra Danda Trek. The guesthouse will have basic rooms with a bed and a few pieces of furniture. There will be a hot shower facility almost everywhere.
For food, you will be eating meals as per the menu of the guesthouse. You can find dishes like rice, curries, sandwiches, bakeries, momo, noodles, veggies, bars, drinks, tea, coffee, etc.

The best time to go on Khopra Danda Trek is during Spring and Autumn. Spring includes months from September to November and Autumn includes months from March to May. The bright sky, clear weather, and zest of chillness in the climate will add a lovely ambiance to the journey.
